The rock glittered
Snowy on the inside
shadowy on the out
while shards of silence
sprung forth
like a punch in the stomach.
His secret tried to sprout,
covered in clay
and granite,
wretching forth
despite being stomped.
It bloomed in death.
His secret, his sepulchre.
